Brian Root is a seasoned product executive with a passion for developing impactful digital products, with extensive experience across eCommerce, FinTech, and InsurTech. He has built, led and scaled numerous cross-functional product and design teams, for companies ranging from startups to some of Fortune 100’s largest companies (Amazon and Walmart), and honed his ability to create environments that foster innovative solutions and drive growth by truly meeting users’ needs.

In his career as a technology generalist, Brian has led both consumer-facing and platform initiatives, and has built and optimized products across web, mobile and mobile apps. He has extensive experience leading design sprints and driving product ideation through the 0-1 and 1-10 stages. Brian has established both A/B testing and UX research practices at multiple companies and brings a unique perspective on how to bring together the quantitative and qualitative to yield the greatest insight.

Brian holds a B.A. from Princeton University in Economics with dual focus in game theory and applications of computer science, and an MBA from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School where he completed a quadruple focus in entrepreneurship, consulting, supply chain management and marketing.
